Punk Rock DIY in the New Tech, Full Tech, You Tech Classroom
What do you want to do? Whatever it is, you can do it. You're given some tools and it's time to teach. How do you do it? How do you approach it? How do you make it happen? We will show you how we DIY (Do It Yourself) our high school classrooms with blogs, class blogs, student blogs, teacher blogs, online portfolios, 20% Time, Twitter among other tools.
We help our students be themselves and have a voice to express themselves and their opinions and learn by doing.
We want to help you be yourself in your classroom and have fun and success while teaching by doing. All with a punk rock soundtrack! To paraphrase Frank Sinatra via Sid Vicious, "We do it our way!" Participants need to bring their own device.

We blog, 20% Time, tweet, Kickstarter, we travel, we very rarely use paper in our blended learning environment. I... Read More →
