Andrew Stadel has explored secondary math with students for over ten years in Orange County, California, before supporting teachers in his district as a Math and Digital Learning Coach. He believes estimation is key to building number sense and being a better problem solver. On his widely-acclaimed Estimation 180, Andrew shares estimation challenges each day of the school year with teachers and their students. Andrew also shares his passion and excitement for student thinking and mathematical problem-solving, presenting at national conferences and as a consultant at teacher trainings, helping teachers strengthen their instructional tool belts.When Andrew is not covering file cabinets with sticky notes, he enjoys spending time with his wife, building Lego vehicles with his son, and playing Frozen super heroes with his daughter.
